Crown / Samducksa SDB-202 30mm Cherry Screw In Button - Red

The SBD 202 line of buttons by Samducksa (formerly Crown) is an improvement on their 201 line by replacing the Futaba switch with the Cherry MX Silver switch, allowing for higher speed play on both arcade cabinets and fight sticks.

These screw-in pushbuttons can be used on metal control panels, or plastic and wood up to 10mm (3/8in) thick. The Cherry MX Silver switch is preinstalled and has .110" (2.8mm) male spade connectors.

Button Specs
  • Red plunger with Red bezel
  • Samducksa Part # SDB-202-30-R

Great For Modding Arcade1UP 12/22/2022
By Tim
I used these buttons on a modded Arcade1UP Pac-Man cabinet. They work perfectly on my custom control panel.

Unfortunately with the factory control panel they do not work without modification. They are not quite long enough to reach thourough the control panel with the plexiglass protector on. So you cannot secure them with the included screw on rings, unless you remove the plexiglass. The other issue is that they are 30mm buttons and the factory Arcade1UP control panel has 28mm holes. Both of these issues can be remedied with some modification.

They are very high quality buttons with linear cherry switches inside of them. They feel solid and look nice. I've gotten compliments from others about the quality.

I can't comment on using these for fightsticks or competitive play. I am sure there are better buttons for that usecase. But for a modded Arcade1UP, these are a huge improvement over the factory buttons.
