Looks great with the right LEDs and some effort02/20/2024 ByBrian Carty I replaced the t-molding on my Foo Fighters Pro pinball machine with this. Despite not being recommended for hard corners like on pinball back boxes, you can make it work with some effort.
5050 LEDs did not look good - there's too much space between the lights and not enough diffusion. I found a very high density CoB LED strip that looks outstanding, though. With the hard corners, I had to install the lights in the molding before adding the molding to the back box, and I was worried that the pounding from the mallet or the pressure from the compressed molding on the corners would damage the lights. Everything worked out for me, though.
Tough skin10/27/2021 BySean N Great piece to add to your mame cabinet or other 90's shooter to modernize it for new arcade use. Keep in mind that the moulding is thicker than your usual 3/4" stuff and will need the "t" cut in areas to help wrap around corners. Sharp turns and curves are not really recommended. Best to use this stuff on nice wide sweeping turns and curves rather than 90 degree bends. Their LED strip lights they sell slide in with ease.

LED T-MOLDING04/11/2020 ByJohn Coate So I used the LED T-molding for a jukebox restore... and I have to say the stuff is really good! I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to pound the molding into the slot without damaging the LED light strip that was inside, but the plastic is very thick and protected the lights just fine. I couldn’t put the leds in after because there were several sharp corners. Anyway, excellent product!!!

Good for modding10/29/2019 ByTimothy Stephens This Tmolding is good for modding your game with LEDs. It does not work well on tight corners. Really needs to be a gradual curve. The spline that holds the molding to the cabinet is thicker than the normal groove width. In some cases this can cause the wood to slip and the molding is hammered in. In some cases heating the molding with a heat gun can make is more mailable because it’s not very flexible like your standard tmolding.
Led t moulding 10/16/2019 ByMike Sherbring This is a very stiff moulding hard to install I had to make a special tool out of wood to install it so I wouldn’t smash the led strip I installed inside it This looks great once it’s in place

This LED T-Molding Housing is a translucent t-molding with a hollow core, allowing it to be illuminated by inserting LED strips or EL (Electroluminescent) tape into it.
