The U-HID is Ultimarc's most capable input/output HID (Human Interface Device) with 50 connections and the widest variety of inputs: pushbuttons, momentary switches, toggle switches, joysticks, rotary encoders (spinners), 12-way or N-way rotary switches, trackballs, optical devices, pots, analog voltage sources, and more! As well as the widest range of assignments: keystroke, gamepad button, gamepad analog axis, mouse axis or buttons, 5V output, quadrature mouse pair, LED controls, and more!

Connections can be assigned as:

• Keyboard key
• Gamepad Button
• Gamepad analog axis with or without auto-calibration and center dead-zone.
• Mouse button (including double-click)
• Quadrature Mouse Pair. X or Y axis. Normal or reverse direction.

• PC-controlled LED output using special software
• PC Num/Scroll/Caps lock LEDs
• U-HID locally-controlled LED output based on the state of any switch.

• “Button down” and “button up” can be separately assigned as primary or secondary codes.
