FAQ - General
What is t-molding?
T-Molding is the decorative trim that resides on the outer edge of arcade cabinets and many other products.
What width t-molding does my arcade cabinet require?
Typical standard size game cabinets require a 3/4" t-molding. However, some game manufacturers require a slightly smaller width such as 5/8" or 9/16". We advise you to measure the width of your cabinet before ordering, just to be on the safe side.
How much t-molding do I need for my upright / cocktail cabinet?
Standard cocktail tables require 10'-12'. Standard uprights require 20' (10' per side). However, be advised that some games have t-molding that runs all the way behind the cabinet. Those games require a total of 32' (or 16' per side). The best way to know for sure is to take a quick measurement.
What size slot do I need to cut?
Each t-molding will have a recommended "Slot Width" listed on their product detail page. That is the size to cut. Do not cut a slot the same width as the spine, otherwise the barbs on the spine will not hold it in place.
What if my slot is too large?
We have heard of customers putting masking tape or duct tape over the spine to make it thicker and then it will stay in a loose slot, but if the slot is too large for that another option would be wood glue in the slot and then tape or clamp the t-molding into place while it dries. The glue will not stick to the plastic but it will harden around the barbs on the spine to hold it in place.
Do I have to buy a minimum length of t-molding?
Yes, many of our t-moldings will have either a 5ft or 20ft minimum and will sell in 5ft or 10ft increments, up to a max length of 250ft for a single piece. Details will be on each product page.
What is your return policy?
If you are not satisfied with your purchase you may return the product within 30 days of arrival for a refund of the product price minus a 10% restocking fee. The following guidelines apply:
- Email us for a Return Merchandise Authorization number prior to shipping an order back.
- The product cannot be damaged unless damaged by the delivery service.
- The refund will be credited back to the original payment method used. A check will be mailed if applicable.
- A 10% restocking fee will be applied to the refund.
- Returned t-molding must ship in the same or similar sized box so it's not coiled too tightly which will damage it, and returned it in the plastic bag it came in which protects it from being scuffed by the box. If it is cut, dirty, kinked, scuffed, or otherwise damaged to the point that it can not be resold we can not provide a refund.
Do you ship outside of the United States?
Yes, we ship worldwide. When you add products to your shopping cart and enter your shipping address during checkout (or login to an existing account) international shipping rates will be calculated for you.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express as well as PayPal and Amazon Pay. All payments are processed securely through our website at the time of purchase, which ensures no one ever has access to your credit card or payment details.
Do you accept foreign Currency?
We only accept US Dollars.
Can your t-molding be used outside?
Our t-moldings are not made with UV resistive pigments so they will fade over time in sunlight and will also shrink/expand in extreme cold/heat.
