Did The Job Right

I used this T-Molding to edge some 1" thick MDF and it worked great. I used the .080" slot cutter from Whiteside. The slot should be close to centered, but doesn't have to be perfect. The 1-1/8" molding will stand slightly proud of the top and bottom face, and is trimmed flush after installation. I used an edge band trimmer that cabinet makers use, and it worked well to trim the top. I left the bottom a little proud, which didn't cause any issues.
The molding tapped into the slot readily with a rubber mallet, and once installed, didn't budge. It stays put really well in MDF.
Took A Chance - Perfect Fit

The 1 1/8" plastic T-molding edge trim on my RV dinette table began to split at the radius corners. I couldn't find a replacement in that size with the original faux wood look, so I decided to try T-Molding.com's black offering. Glad I did. Not only did the molding fit perfectly, but the contrast of the black trim against the faux wood table top looks really good. Price was very fair and shipping was fast. The barb fit snuggly into the original dado and that, along with some good quality spray contact cement made for an easy/clean install. Five Stars.

I had a hard time finding the size of T-molding I needed online and in our local hardware store. But I'm so excited I came across T-molding.com , they had just the size I needed and two color options. I used my t molding in my camper to replace the old cracked molding. My order came very fast and even a day earlier then expected!
